Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer

First off I know I haven't been sticking to my posting schedule recently and I'm sorry! I have been absolutely run off my feet recently with uni work and my job, so I do apologize that I haven't been as organised as usual and my blog has taken the back seat! That said I'm going to be spending this whole evening editing and scheduling and doing bloggy things so expect my posts to be up every other day as usual by next week! I've also not been doing much lifestyle type posts so I definitely need to get my thinking cap on, find some inspiration and just start writing!

Anyways, the whole point of this post is that I want to talk about my new secret weapon the Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer. Now for me I find it so difficult to find a half decent primer whether that is high end or drugstore. In fact my old favourite Porefessional breaks me out so much its not even worth buying anymore. I really like the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer (probably the reason I bought a Revlon one with a similar name) as its the only one that doesn't break me out and seems to make my foundation last ages. However, I'm not keen on the silicone feel and I'm always a little aware of it on my skin.

So how does this newbie compare? Well I'm glad to report that this one ticks all the boxes so much so that I didn't even have to powder once during the day and that's saying something as I'm normally an oil slick by noon. The primer makes skin baby soft, blurs out imperfections beautifully and has a lovely soft focus sort of effect on the skin. This makes the perfect base for a flawless application of foundation that really does last all day. And it's a huge bonus that it did all of this without breaking me out as I really struggle to find a primer that doesn't!

I'm honestly so impressed with this as its really solved all of my primer woes, and I will definitely be repurchasing when this runs out. This is definitely a great product for those of us who have oily skin as it combats oil without making you break out!

Do any of you use a primer ? What ones are your favourites?

Lush Haul

The other day I decided to take a much over due trip to Lush to get some heavenly scented bath time goodies! Lewis actually came with me and he really enjoyed some of the male perfumes that lush have to offer (they are honestly amazing). I always enjoy a little trip to Lush as the staff are so friendly and helpful and they have amazing product knowledge which shows they have a genuine passion for what they sell. I don't know how people can even walk past a store without wanting to go in does when it smells as good as Lush does! Anyways I'm assuming that if your reading this you'd quite like a nosey at the things I actually purchased...

Karma Bubble Bar: This was the first thing I picked up! I was going to be predictable and opt for the comforter, but something was telling me to try something different for a change. This product goes in your bath and makes lots of pretty coloured, sweet smelling bubbles! It has an amazing, orangey, zingy, and uplifting smell that I can only imagine will leave one feeling refreshed and energized mmm! It contains two essential oils too so hopefully it will nourish my skin a little, and clear my senses.

Creamy Candy Bubble Bar: Now its quite possible that in all of my excitement I imagined this, but to me this bubble bar smells very much like snow fairy! One sniff and all the festive themed bubble baths from last year came flooding right back! I honestly cannot wait to use this, although I think I might save it until i'm fully ready to admit that it's just 3 paydays until Christmas! Eek!! Oh and this has cocoa butter and almond oil in it so unlike other standard bubble bars this also moisturizes your skin. I cannot wait to use this!

Think Pink Bathbomb: Well if Barbie had a signature bath bomb...This is such a pretty bath bomb that I didn't even smell it before I popped it in the basket, so I'm awfully lucky it has an amazing vanilla scent! I saw on the Lush website that this has little paper hearts inside so its probably the most girly bath bomb there is!

Bubblegum Lip Scrub: Last but not least I got this little baby! Now I know that people go on about these being pricey for what is essentially just a home made sugar scrub, but this smells and tastes so so good, and I'd much rather buy it than having the inconvenience (and mess) of having to make my own. This definitely leaves chapped lips silky smooth and is perfect for popping on just before you apply your matte lippy (which can be drying). And because I have such small lips its probably going to take me ages to use all of this up.

What are your favourite products from Lush? Is there anything from there you just can't live without?

Latest in Beauty Glamour Beauty Power List

Hello everyone!! I'm actually sitting here so excited typing up this post as this is definitely one of the best beauty boxes I've ever received ! I think that Latest in Beauty's boxes are always amazing value for money and usually contain a lot of products that you would actually use, but this one is just something else! Packed full of high end and drugstore beauty bits, and containing skincare, make up and one hair product, not to mention full of generous discounts should you wish to purchase anything; I think I'm in beauty box heaven! Oh and that packaging *swoon*! Lets take a look at what is actually inside the box then shall we...

I'm really happy to see this in here! Now that its coming in to Autumn/Winter I can see that my skin is noticeably drier and in much need of some serious TLC. Now this product is probably one of the most hyped up products in the beauty world, and my mum swears by this stuff ! This sample also came with a muslin cloth which you can never have too many of in my opinion! Oh and it smells amazing so I'm very much looking forward to my next bath time.

Now I rarely use fake tan on my face as I find that most of them break you out or clog up pores, but this one I think might actually work! I opened this up to find that it doesn't have the strong smell that most facial tanners do, and in fact if you didn't know you'd never be able to tell it was a tanning product. It also contains amazing skincare ingredients such as aloe vera, cucumber, and hyarulonic acid!

I was pretty excited to see some Phillip Kingsley in my box as I'm a bit weird with hair products and constantly trying to find things that work for my hair type. I actually find that most of the time cheaper hair brands work for my hair better than high end, so I'm glad that this is a heat protectant and leave in conditioner rather than a shampoo or a treatment. This sounds pretty good as my hair gets really tangled and damaged because I wear it down quite a lot! It's also a nice generous sample too!

Yaaaaay! Finally I get to try this mascara! I've heard that this is a good dupe for Benefit's They're Real, which is my go to mascara. However, I've noticed that it seems to dry up really quickly even though its expensive so I'm really hoping that this one will sway me back into using drugstore mascaras!

Unfortunately for me this lipstick isn't a colour I would normally go for as I always think nudes are so much better suited to those of use who are blessed with full lips rather than people like myself who have very small lips. I will obviously give it a try and if I don't like it I'm sure my mum will! The packaging and the formula of the product seem great though!

I'm quite happy that such a big sample of this has made it into a beauty box as Laura Mercier is definitely high end territory! I've read a lot about this primer but never really wanted to spend that kind of money on a primer so heres hoping I don't fall completely in love with it. Apparently it is infused with minerals and vitamins to keep your skin and make up looking fresh all day. Sounds fab!

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't all that excited about these but I've used them already and I think these are amazing! With just a couple of swipes they remove eye make up, mascara, and eye shadow so easily and I think these would be so handy for weekends away or holidays to save you carting around a heavy bottle of eyeliner! I actually think I'm going to use the discount provided to order some of these off the website as soon as these run out !

What do you guys make of this beauty box? What products are yay and which are nay?

Seche Vite: The Best Nail product Ever

Since I started my blog it seems that every so often I discover something fabulous and I soon can't live without it! One of the most recent products to have this oh so thrilling effect on me is the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, which has pretty much changed my nail routine for the better! Oh I know that it is a cult product, but I've always put off buying this because to me it was always just a rather expensive topcoat, but it just so happens its actually worth every penny.

Essentially this is a topcoat that penetrates the bottom layer of your nail varnish in order to speed up the drying process; which it does very well indeed. When I put this on my (wet) nails I noticed that within about thirty seconds that they were near enough dry already! It also didn't interfere with the nail varnish underneath the way other top coats do even though it was applied to wet nails and I loved how professional and glossy my nails looked once dry.

After a couple of days I noticed that my Bourjois nail varnish hadn't yet chipped, and believe me when I say this is not a very chip resistant nail varnish and I normally get bored and peel it off within a couple of days! I actually think I managed to keep my nails the same colour for almost a week, and by the end they didn't look all that scabby at all! In fact, they were still very glossy as though I'd had them done by a professional.

For someone who normally goes for shellac manicures, or leaves nails a la naturale due to the mundane task of having to actually wait for my nails to dry for ages this was definitely very much needed in my collection! I've found myself actually wanting to paint my nails now instead of dreading it, and as a result I have bought a lot more nail colours; although I'm not sure whether or not that is a good thing ! This little gem has revolutionized my nail routine for the better and I'm so happy I actually gave it a shot! Its also going to last you quite a while so I actually think the high price tag is quite justified.

Have any of you guys tried this? Does anyone else hate waiting for their nails to dry?

Boots Autumn Haul

As soon as I got back from my holiday abroad it dawned on me that it is now basically autumn, and before that thought even had time to process in my head I realized that I had spent so much time shopping for summer make up that I had completely forgotten about my favourite season for make up! So I popped into Boots to get a few autumn lipsticks...and a couple of other things!

The first thing I popped into my basket was the Revlon ColourStay Foundation. Now I've heard lots of good things about this and some of my friends even compare it to Estee Lauder Double Wear so its quite astonishing that I haven't tried it yet! Like ELDW this foundation promises long lasting, medium to full coverage, and I also like how there is two versions for each skin type as I've never seen this with a foundation before. Out of the corner of my eye I also spied the Revlon Photoready Primer, which because of the name and because of my love for Smashbox Cosmetics Photo Finish Primer, I just had to buy! Since it was three for two on Revlon I couldn't just walk away without a Lip Butter, so I got one in 'Red Velvet' which is a stunning dark red.

After this I strolled over to Barry M to get some nail varnish and decided on two of the Gelly High Shine Polishes! I often paint my nails different colours so I decided on two which I thought would compliment each other and got one in 'Papaya' and one in 'Cocoa'. I dont know why but these are always my go to nail products as they are so affordable and pretty chip resistant!  Sticking with the nail theme I also picked up a bottle of my favourite nail varnish remover, which is the Cutex Nourishing Nail Polish Remover. This is so much better than standard removers as it whitens and strengthens your nails!

Next I decided to head to the Sleek stand and got one of their Blushers in Flushed. This is a little dark but I think this will look amazing blended out in the autumn over my Nars Sheer Glow Foundation! Sleek Blushers are such good quality yet so affordable! I also picked out a nice brown Lipstick in Vamp, which again I thought was a good choice for fall! I can't wait to wear this on a night out and test it's staying power as I've never tried these before!

If that wasn't enough I spotted that one of my favourites was on offer near the till point and decided to stock up with two of them! The Simple Gentle Eye Make up Remover is honestly the most effective eye make up remover for people with sensitive skin, and it leaves absolutely no residue! I'm so glad I have two bottles to get through now !

What do you guys make of my purchases? Anything here catch your eye?

New Rimmel Apocalips Matte!

I think the first time I ever tried Rimmel Apocalips was when I first started my blog about 10 months ago! Straight away I fell in love with the colour pay off and longevity and bought loads more (I always seem to lose these on boozy nights out)! I love the formula as it looks like lipstick but with a gorgeous sheen to it, and isn't that packaging just fab?!

I'm absolutely delighted that Rimmel have decided to bring out a matte version! The one I purchased is called 'burning lava' and is the gorgeous burnt red you would imagine given the title. It's so pigmented yet has a lovely, velvety, weightless feel on the lips. I decided to wear this on a shopping trip with my mum the other day to see how good the longevity was compared to the original version, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out this actually surpassed my expectations! I set off to the shops around 11am, and only had to reapply this after lunch around 2 because I'd been eating and drinking. When I got home around dinner time I was so happy to see that it looked like I had literally just applied lipstick a few minutes ago.

One thing that someone on twitter pointed out to me was that the Apocalips original version can get on your teeth constantly if you are not careful, but this was not the case with the matte version at all, and I also noticed that this was also a lot easier to apply.

Since discovering this I have to say I've literally worn it every day, but it hasn't stopped my love for the original version, and I also bought one of those in the colour 'eclipse'! This is a gorgeous plum which I just know is going to be perfect for autumn!

Do any of you have these products? Which version do you prefer?

Mac Additions!

Saturday was such an important day for me as it was student loan day, and meant that my wages have become disposable income again. I'm no longer paying off a holiday or saving up spending money (although we are looking at going to NYC next year) and really the only thing I have to pay for from now is car insurance, which I already have money in my savings account for ! So to celebrate I took a little trip to the Mac counter (and Boots, and YSL but lets concentrate on Mac for now).

I have to say these little purchases have gotten me so excited for winter autumn time! This was actually my first red lipstick purchase of the year and you know that December isn't far off when that happens. The shade is called Lady Danger and is an orange toned red, but pretty close to a classic red. At first I wasn't sure whether or not this kind of colour would suit me, but now that I've worn it a few times I don't even care anymore because its so darn pretty! Everyone knows that the staying power of a Mac lippy is unbeatable, and it even annoys me sometimes that I have to scrub at my lips before bed to get it off!

I also bought an Eye Shadow in Cranberry Frost, which is such a gorgeous shade that again I don't even care if it suits me or not! I'm actually thinking about buying a Mac Pro Palette and depotting my eyeshadows into it, but I don't quite have enough to fill a whole palette yet, so I might wait for a bit until I do! I actually can't get over how nice this lovely aubergine colour is, and there's nothing like a good Christmassy name to make me want to purchase it! It's also fantastically pigmented, but what else would you expect from a Mac eyeshadow ?

What do you guys think of the shades I have chosen?

My Night Time Skin Care Routine

I don't think I've ever did a skin care routine post before, but its something I've always really wanted to do ! As you probably already know my skin is a little problematic; rather oily in the T-zone and rather dry everywhere else. I also suffer from the most horrendous breakouts of big under the skin spots that just stay on my face way beyond their welcome. (Not that I ever welcomed them in the first place!) I thought a little round up of the things I use every night on my face was long overdue!

To remove my make up at night I start by using an eye make up remover. At the moment I am using the Botanics Soothing Eye Make Up Remover, which to be honest isn't my favourite, but it does the job ( I recommend the Simple Eye Make Up Remover as it leaves less residue and is more effective). I then use the Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm to remove the rest of my make up and rinse it off with a warm facecloth. The warm water opens my pores and gets rid of any dirt which is clogging them up, and also contains rose hip oil, which supposedly helps to rid the skin of toxins and prevent breakouts. After this I use some of my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to remove any excess residue from the balm cleanser and its always a good idea to double cleanse eh? Next I use my Clinique Clarifying Lotion (3), which is a liquid exfoliant and there is honestly nothing like it for clearing up break outs!

Next I apply various lotions and potions to my face starting with the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (+), which I pop onto any problematic areas as its amazingly soothing on any redness or sore under the skin spots. I then massage a couple of drops of The Body Shop Vitamin E Serum in Oil onto the drier areas of my face. This stuff is amazing and whenever I use it I always wake up  with healthy looking, glowing skin. Next I put some of my Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment onto my under eyes as I have a huge complex about my under eye circles. A little of this goes a very long way, but I would definitely say this is better for night rather than day time wear.

Lastly, I put on a little bit of lip balm  to soothe and hydrate my lips over night, and I usually use The Body Shop Lip Butters as they are so nice and taste delicious. I also normally pop some hand cream on as I suffer from really dry hands due to one of my jobs, and lets be honest it isn't all that lady like. I love love love Soap and Glory Handfood, as it dries in so quickly and smells so amazing and girly.

That's everything I slap on my face before bed at night. What are your go to products for night time?

Newbies #6

So apparently I bought some new make up bits this week? Well that's rather unlike me...not. These are just bits I decided to get on a recent shopping trip as the holiday blues were hitting rather hard and buying make up is definitely the best way to cheer yourself up. I would say that this post could quite easily have been a haul, but it turns out I'm becoming more restrained in my old age. (haw haw)

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer is something I used to use ages ago when I first started using the foundation, but decided at a later stage to try something else and just never really went back to it. I've actually used this one a few times already and although I think I may have bought a shade too light for my skin, the finish of this concealer is beautiful. It is more of a liquid than a creamy formula so if you are expecting it to be the concealer version of Double Wear Foundation then I'm afraid that it is not, as it's much lighter than I expected it to be. It definitely blends in seamlessly with foundation, and the finish is lovely and extremely long wearing. I'd say it offers medium coverage, and I got this in the colour Light Warm

Sleek Eyebrow Stylist was one of those things I always eyed up in Superdrug, but never really actually bought. Until now. My obsession with eye brows is bordering on weird, but this is definitely a great little tool to have. It comes with a gel pencil on one side and a spoolie on the other to run through and perfect your brows. So far I've been loving this as its so easy and quick when I don't have all that much time on my hands. The gel could be doing with being a little softer, but it's a good product, and very well priced at around a fiver. I got this in Medium Brown.

So, that's what I bought last week folks! Have any of you guys ever used these products?

Urban Decay De-Slick Mattifying Powder

If you have oily skin it can sometimes feel near impossible to have perfect make up all day long. This is definitely true for me as I always find that half way through the day my face is a little shiny, and my foundation and concealer tends to oxidize a little around my T-zone. I feel as though a nice blotting powder is always the best way to minimize shine and help keep oil at bay, so I always carry some in my handbag whenever I am on the go. However, with the exception of Mac I actually don't think I've ever tried a high end powder before! I decided to try this one as I adore the De Slick Setting Spray, and it definitely works, so of course I hoped the powder would be just as effective!

Urban Decay De Slick Mattifying Powder claims to be lightweight, and to work on every skin tone imaginable. Now as you can see from the picture it is a little scary looking. It's WHITE! But do not fret this goes on absolutely translucent and I have no doubt that it works for every skin tone as it is completely invisible once applied. It contains rice powder making it super fine, and lightweight, and I can honestly say that once applied I don't feel this on my skin at all. I simply swirl my brush a few times and sweep over my T-zone and chin, and I'm ready to face the day. In fact the formula of this is pretty much perfect when it comes to blotting powder.

I also rather enjoy the packaging on this which is too pretty with its gorgeous floral stencil design through the purple acrylic! Its also very sturdy and closes shut unlike most drugstore powders (Stay Matte I'm looking at youuuuu!), and if that wasn't enough the mirror inside is huge, which is handy for me as I've become quite accustomed to make up application on the train of late. In fact, I'm a complete sucker for anything UD as I think the packaging always looks distinctive, and this is certainly no exception.

The one thing I would say is that I did have to powder a few times during the day whereas with other products I have literally used them once and they have been able to keep me shine free for a whole working day. Now this could also be down to what make up I have been wearing as I've recently changed my foundation so lets give it the benefit of the doubt eh?

Overall, this is pretty much the perfect pressed powder for anyone who suffers from shine or excess oil throughout the day. I absolutely love the packaging of this and its definitely one of the best blotting powders I've ever tried. Its also on offer at the minute on the Feel Unique Website so be sure to snap yours up quickly!

Do any of you use a powder to stay shine free? Which are your favourites?

Samples #4: Benefit Mini's

Obviously going on holiday can be a little...err...challenging(?) for those of us with a huge cosmetic obsession. Most airlines only give you a teeny tiny weight restriction of 20kg (some are actually 15kg), which is a little tricky to work with. Don't they ever consider how many lotions and potions we have to be applied to our bodies daily? Or understand the fact that I use dramatically different things on my face from evening to morning, and depending on how my skin is sometimes I can change my whole skin care routine halfway through the week! Oh, whats that about that hugeeeee box of sample sized products that I never seem to even glance at normally?

I decided to try these two on holiday as there really is no end to my love of Benefit. However, believe it or not apart from It's Potent Eye Cream I actually hadn't tried any of Benefit's skincare range up until now. These two cutie patootay bottles of skin care goodness were just the perfect size to take on my travels with me; the hard part was crossing my fingers and hoping I actually liked them. The truth is yes, I very much did like them.

Foamingly Clean Facial Wash: This is just a nice, good old-fashioned foaming cleanser. It kind of reminds me of something I used back in high school when my skin was even oilier than it is now. You basically scrub this all over your face with water and then rinse off. It's literally that simple. I would say that this probably would be something to steer clear of if you have dry skin as it does leave my skin a little drier than my normal cleansing balm, but this is actually a good thing for me as I'd been using sunscreen on my face all week so I wanted to use something that would get rid of any residue and stop me breaking out. It definitely is a one step cleanser as there was not a scrap of make up left on my face after rinsing this off. I also checked to make sure that alcohol wasn't high on the ingredients list; its not! Oh and don't get this in your eyes because it will sting.

Refined Finish Facial Polish: This was rather lovely. Unlike the facial exfoliants I normally use the grains in this were absolutely tiny and didn't feel 'scratchy' or harsh on my face at all. After using this my skin was soft, smooth and my pores also seemed a little smaller. The product contains natural clay and seaweed extract, which I think are supposed to be good for oily skin as they both draw out impurities. Well it didn't exactly blow me away, but it definitely does what it says on the tin, and yes my face did look better with regular use.

So as you can see the products do work as well as they claim, and at the end of the week my skin did look better as a result of using both of these. However, as they aren't quite miracle products I'm not sure whether I would purchase the full sizes as they are quite expensive in terms of what they actually do for my skin. I shall think about it though...

Do any of you use these? What do you think of them ?

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

First off I would like to apologize for the little black splodge that has appeared on all of my photographs recently. I don't know whether I've dropped and damaged my camera or something has got inside the lense! Anyways, I've ordered a new one, which should hopefully be with me on Monday so please bear with me for these couple of posts!

I always end up coming home from my holiday with a skin tone that no longer matches my foundation so this year I thought I would be clever and buy something a little darker in advance. The Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation sounded like my thing as it clearly states on the bottle: 'Light perfecting radiance foundation'. I adore that gorgeous, glowing, just-back-from-holiday skin so I was won over and when I saw it was on offer I shoved it straight into my basket. I also liked the idea that this foundation blends in with your natural skin tone, and thought that even if it was still a little too light it would at least look like the right colour for me. I picked it up in the shade 'warm honey' which is a couple of shades darker than I'd normally go for and contains yellow undertones.

This foundation is really easy to blend and I found that a little went rather a long way, however, my oily skin meant that this foundation can not last more than a few hours without sliding all over my face. Add in 33 degree heat and its a recipe for disaster. It's not all bad and the look and finish of the foundation is lovely if you like a natural finish, but unfortunately it isn't all that great for oily skinned gals. I'd suggest that you try Rimmel's Wake Me Up offering instead. If you have dry skin this will probably work well on you although you may still have to use a blotting powder or a primer.

Have any of you lot used this foundation before? How did you get on with it?

Turkey

Hello guys! Hope everyone is well! I spent last week in Turkey with Lewis and it was one of the best and most relaxing weeks ever. The hotel was really clean and spacious and we went all inclusive so our tummies were kept extremely happy; although we did eat dinner in the town most nights! We also went and visited Ephesus, which is one of the best things I have ever done. It is honestly an amazing period in history and our tour guide was brilliant and able to give us so much information on the ruins. We also went on a relaxing boat trip which stopped off at so many beautiful bays where we jumped off the boat into the sea! The water was clear blue and the sand was almost white! We met so many lovely people over there both tourists and local. Also the town of kusadasi is literally a shopping paradise...but watch out they literally do make up their own prices on the spot so you have to be careful you don't get ripped off.

Anyways I thought I would share some of my favourite snaps of the week !

I really recommend Bodrum in Turkey for a couples holiday! There are literally so many things to do and see and the food is great ! It's also pretty cheap if I remember correctly...I think Lewis and I probably spent about 200 pounds each and that's even including the things we bought in duty free at the airport!

Has anyone else been on holiday lately or have one coming up?

August Favourites

Oh hello is that the end of August already? Weird to think I'll be heading back to uni in a few weeks, and not only that but I'm going to have my first teaching placement. Woaaaaah scary! I just hope I don't get mistaken for one of the pupils! Anyways, these are some of the things I've been loving/using to death this month.

First up is my Real Techniques Stippling Brush. I've been going for a lighter base during the summer and this brush has helped me massively in creating a gorgeous flawless canvas. This brush is amazing for the likes of BB creams and light coverage foundations! Oh and to hydrate my skin perfectly before I even apply my make up I've been using the Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet which is pretty incredible! I've already raved about this in my review, and its just a really great product if you want your skin to stay hydrated and look amazing underneath all of your make up. Another newbie to add to the list is the Rimmel Brow This Way eyebrow mascara. I was actually debating whether to put this in my favourites as it does have a few cons, but I've literally been wearing this every single day since I got it so it must be good stuff!

Next is my good old MUA Undressed palette, which contains so many gorgeous shades, and I seem to reach for this more than any of my other high end palettes, including my Urban Decay palettes!! I've also had a few nasty break outs this month due to changing my contraception so the Quick Fix Anti-Blemish Mud Mask has been my saving grace, and helped to quickly get rid of all those pesky little blighters that keep popping up. Oh and I don't know if you guys know but I'm completely obsessed with TBS Moringa Scent at the moment so this is The Body Mist which I've been using daily. It smells amazing!

Last but not least, I've been using the Toni and Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray*, which I actually got in a goody bag at their store in Glasgow. I've had really bad experiences with Sea Salt Sprays so I wasn't expecting to like this, but actually its amazing! It adds lots of texture and volume to my hair which is very much needed at the minute!

I wanted to tell you guys about my non-beauty favourites this month too! So, if you didn't already know I'm really into reading and one of my favourite authors is Stephen King. I read The Shining a few years ago so I was super excited when this sequel came out. Doctor Sleep is actually a lot different from the first book, but definitely worth a read; I couldn't put this down! I've also got a huge sweet tooth, and my main addiction is chocolate! I've been absolutely loving the Green and Black's Butterscotch flavour, which is sooooo yummy! These are also pretty tiny so they satisfy my cravings perfectly without me over indulging!

Thats everything I have been loving this month! What have you been loving in August?
