HAUL: Boots Holiday Goodies

Well hello there! Looks like someone has been naughty in Boots yet again! I'm not even going to apologize, because obviously I really needed all of these things. To be honest I was feeling rather spendy prior to my holiday and wanted some new bits to take away with me so this is what I bought...

The Avene Thermal Spring Water I think is pretty self explanatory. I thought this would come rather in handy for cooling us down in Turkey where it is currently 33 degrees. I like these sprays because they also contain vitamins which are good for your skin and this is also suitable for sensitive skin, which is good for poor Lewis. Also as a holiday essential I picked up a miniature Tresemme Heat Protect Spray, which I tend to use a lot. It's very cheap in supermarkets and seems to work! There are other heat protectants which I am more fond of, but this one certainly does the job. Lastly, I bought some Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner in Dazzling Shine, which I believe is of a citrus fragrance. Not terribly exciting, but very necessary for clean, shiny hair!

Now onto the more exciting part of the haul! Make up! I've been looking for a nice coral blusher for a while now and could not help but notice how cute and quirky these Clinique Cheek Pops are! I picked this one up in ginger pop, which is a gorgeous coral with a nice bit of gold shimmer. It's also handy that the packaging is pretty compact. Next up I went straight to Revlon and picked up some lipstick. No holiday is complete without an orange lippie so I settled for the Colourburst Matte Balm in Audacious, which is a bit of a bold choice for me, but if you can't have bright orange lips on holiday then when can you?! I decided that one lipstick was just not enough so I also slipped a Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick into my now expanding basket. This is a lovely barbie pink, but not as bold as my first choice as it has a more glossy finish...super excited to wear them though!

Next, I went in hunt of a 'holiday' foundation. I normally completely forget to pick up a darker foundation for when my face gets tanned or I end up just buying my every day foundation a few shades darker, but I didn't want to spend loads on a foundation I was only going to use for a couple of weeks so when I saw the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation on offer I decided that it would do perfectly. I'm a little worried as I've never used this before, and I don't always like drugstore foundations, but hopefully my skin will look good enough with a tan anyway that I won't even need much foundation. After this I spotted the Collection Work the Colour Nail Varnish selection, which were also all on offer for just £1.50. I should have really picked up a few of these, but I got one in Baby Blue, which is exactly the colour it sounds. I've actually wore this already and despite the price it actually is good quality and hardly chips! Last but not least I picked up some Eyelure False Eyelashes in the hope that someday I will actually be able to apply false lashes. These ones are pre glued, which I actually didn't notice when I picked them up, but I've got some spare glue lying around anyways so I'll probably just use that as well.

Definitely think I was perfectly restrained in Boots, and most of these things are coming on holiday with me so that's my excuse!

Have you guys used any of these products? What do you think of my choices?
