Flight Essentials

One of the best parts of going on holiday for me is the flight to your destination. It's always super exciting getting to the airport, checking in your luggage and having a good old wander round for some food, and duty free make up goodies. In fact, I like packing my hand luggage bag even more than I like packing my suitcase. However, there are certain things which are an absolute MUST in my flight bag, so lets see what they are shall we...

Beauty: When you are off on holiday the last thing you probably care about is looking after your skin ect, but flights can make yourself and your skin extremely dehydrated so its probably important to pack a good moisturizer for during the flight to keep you looking radiant, and healthy. I think I'll be taking my newest discovery and obsession, which is the Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet! I'm also taking a Chapstick for my lips as they too get very dry when flying. Now I don't really suffer from dry hands on flight but I always have a hand cream in my every day handbag anyways, so I'm going to take my old trusted favourite, which is the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment

Refresh: For getting off the flight and onto my holiday destination or next part of the journey I always feel the need to freshen up a little. I always pack some wipes, and my face wipes of choice are always these ones by Simple. I'm also going to take my La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water Spray which will give my skin a little moisture boost every now and then. Now I am extremely strange about public toilets so I'll definitely be bringing some hand sanitizer; the one in the picture is by Radox and smells amazing! I've also packed some eye gel from Anatomicals, so that instead of looking tired and sleepy I will look like I've just woken up from my beauty sleep (hopefully)! Lastly, I'll be taking a mini perfume from TBS, which is in their new Fijian Water Lotus Scent so I'll be smelling sweet!

Miscellaneous: I have to admit that I'm a huge book worm. It's one of the things I most looked forward to when I finished uni for the summer; being able to read a good book in my spare time! This one is called A Thousand Splendid Suns and although I haven't read it yet, it sounds like everything I love in a novel. It's supposedly dramatic, inspiring and a little bit sad. I can't wait to pass the time with this! Headphones are also a huge must especially if your ears pop on the plane. I normally listen to music on my phone to stop this from happening.

Bit Weird: Does anyone else get cold feet on a flight? Just me? I always take a pair of socks as whenever I'm flying as my feet always get cold and numb in the air. My mum keeps telling me I should get flight socks but I think these frilly Topshop ones are way cuter! Oh and I just love food so much that there is no way in hell I'm going 4 hours without anything to snack on so I'll be sneaking a few snacks in my bag. Will probably buy a lot more through in customs though.

What are your flight essentials? Anything that is an absolute MUST?

I think for my November holiday I'm defo going to pack some socks and probably a jumper too.
