Top T in the Park Moments!

Just in case you didn't already know...I went to T in the Park at the weekend! It was probably one of the best weekends of my life, and I was so blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing people, and see so many of my favorite bands!! Lets round up all the highlights that made it so bloody special shall we...

1. Arctic Monkeys in general. The chance to see one of the best and most modern British bands doesn't come around all too often. Obviously I got a little too excited when Fluorescent Adolescent came on and it reminded me of being 18 again, and going out clubbing 4 nights a week! Oh how the times have changed!

2. Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro holding up a YES flag at the end of his performance. Whether you are voting for independence or not I think you will all agree that this was an absolutely phenomenal thing to do, especially when your every move is being watched by the BBC. Wonder if he got a slap on the wrist for that one...

3. Getting so drunk with my bestie Lauren on the Saturday that we skipped a Pharell performance to go on the waltzers! We then lost each other among all the hilarity, resulting in me missing Calvin Harris, which I actually wasn't that bothered about until I saw that Will Smith ended up introducing him. Woe is me.

4. The glorious Scottish sunshine. Now that's not a phrase you hear very often. But, apart from the Saturday night, the weather was pretty amazing. I think I saw more sunburn than I've ever saw in my life. I've actually come home with a better tan than I come back from my holidays with!

5. Bonding with Lewis like we have never bonded before. Apparently Lewis thought I would be too high maintenance to camp at a festival without access to showers or a decent toilet for a few days, but actually I did pretty good. He's obviously incredibly proud, and now he knows that we will be able to go to many a festival together in the future!

I had an absolutely amazing weekend and who knows maybe I will even return next year! Anyone that thinks they can't do the camping thing needs to give it a try at least once. I promise you it will be a weekend of memories you will never ever forget!

Where any of you at T in the park? Or any other festivals for that matter?
