Newbies #4

The other day I spontaneously ordered a few things from Feel Unique, which my bank balance is not happy about! I think I might have a genuine shopping addiction, I honestly can't resist a bargain!

The first thing I popped into my online basket was this Blue and Pink Tangle Teezer. I've never had a genuine Tangle Teezer before; I used to have an eBay replica, but unfortunately it got lost when I went on holiday last year *sad face*. My hair has been quite well behaved recently, but it's so thick that it is impossible for it not to get tangled and matted throughout the day. I really like the idea of using something that won't damage or break my hair, and I just love the colour of this one!

I also ordered the Real Techniques Stippling Brush, which is technically not a newbie as I have had it before, but its one of my favourite brushes for creating a gorgeous flawless look with foundation. I still have a few of the other brushes in the range that I got over a year ago, which are still in amazing condition, so they are definitely brushes worth adding to your collection in my opinion.

Lastly, I decided to buy this Carmex Moisture Plus Lipbalm in Peach, which I've wanted for ages because of the SPF and the tint. Last year I arrived home from Ibiza with the sorest and driest lips ever and I have no intention of letting that happen again. I love that this gives the lips a slight colour, but its so natural that you wouldn't even notice. I can't wait to wear this around the pool in Turkey!

Have any of you ever used any of these before? What did you think?

  1. I've heard so many amazing things about stippling brushes...they seem to really work the foundation in so nicely, If i go back to liquid foundation i'm going to have to give one of these a go :) I've tried a detangling brush before and it worked great through my hair and I have crazy thick hair...let me know how you like it??
