July Empties

Normally I would exclaim at the start of an empties post how the month has just flew by but actually July has been so long! But maybe that's just because I don't get paid until the 30th, and I have been counting down the days let me tell you...

This month I've somehow used up not one but two mattifying primers. The first is the Smashbox Colour Correct Photo Finish, which I really loved using and will definitely be buying again soon when I have the cash as its a little expensive. This primer really did a great job of hiding any redness from blemishes, and unlike The Porefessional it did all this without provoking breakouts. Yaaaay! I also used up the more budget friendly Rimmel Stay Matte Primer, which wasn't anything particularly special, but it definitely did the job of keeping my make up on all day! I actually did a giveaway featuring this primer earlier on in the year!

Now onto the product that I am gutted to have used up which is my Nars Sheer Glow Foundation. I adore this foundation when I'm having a good skin day, and although I put off buying this for years-because I didn't think it would work with oily skin-it's actually now one of my favourite bases. Although this is a little on the pricey side you definitely get what you pay for as it gives your skin a gorgeous radiant look, and ladies don;'t be put off by the word sheer as its actually more of a medium coverage foundation. I think I'm going to go and get more of this before I go on holiday, but I will definitely be needing a few shades darker as I got this one in March so its a little pale for me now.

Last but not least, I am also saying goodbye to two of my closest shower buddies...although hopefully not for long. I have really loved using the Nspa Melting Cleansing Gel and it is such a savior if you have oily or spot prone skin, it also keeps your skin hydrated with grape seed oil unlike some other gel products which can really dry it out. So sad this is gone but will definitely be repurchasing as I seem to remember it being a bit of a bargain from Asda. I've also used up every last drop of my Body Shop Coconut Scrub! I love the coconut scent, and have really enjoyed how sweet it makes me smell as it really does linger on the skin. It's also not as harsh on the skin as some of the other body exfoliators out there so as usual I will continue to buy this probably forever. Thank you to The Body Shop for helping me to smell so good all of the time!

Which of these products have you guys tried? Is there anything on your empties list that you are gutted about?
