HAUL: The Body Shop

The other day my mother and I decided to head to our local Body Shop to get some much deserved treats for a pamper session later on that evening! We actually ended up getting a lot more that what we initially thought we were going to get as there were a few good offers on for Love Your Body Card holders.

The first thing I picked up was right at the front of the store as it is a brand new product. I got so excited when I put the Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet on my hand that I just had to buy it! It felt so cooling on my skin that I can only imagine the wonders it will work on my face after a day of sunbathing! It is supposed to really sink into the skin and give it a much needed moisture boost so I will very much be packing this when I go away in 3 weeks time! Another new product which I was excited to try was the Fijan Water Lotus Scent, and whilst my mum opted for the full sized perfume I decided to go with the small and handy size as I thought it would be good to have some kind of perfume to take on the plane with me so I can still smell fresh after a four and a half hour flight.

I also bought a miniature Moringa Body Butter to take on holiday with me, which is the scent I have been completely obsessed with ever since my friends bought me the fragrance mist for my birthday. It just smells so fresh and wonderful! Now I probably have about a million half used body butters from The Body Shop lying around my room and bathroom, but I thought this was the perfect size to pop in my holiday toiletries bag! I also decided I wanted to try the new Body Souffle in Moringa as they are supposed to absorb into the skin a lot quicker than the body butters and have a lovely fresh cooling sensation. So, off I went to the till point to buy my goodies. When I got to the till point I saw that they were selling little face masks for about £2 so I decided I wanted to try the Vitamin C Microdermabrasion Exfoliator, and popped that in with my other items.

Now because I spent over a certain amount (£20) I got a free gift which is apparently up to the value of £30! In my little gift I got a Vitamin E Moisture Cream, Miniature Pink Grapefruit Body Butter and Body Scrub, and a Black Kohl Eyeliner. I can't wait to try all of these things! Love how generous The Body Shop can be sometimes! I have used the eyeliner before and it is definitely one of the best around so even if the other things are nice holiday extras I feel as though I have done extremely well. Who doesn't love a good freebie?

Have any of you been to The Body Shop recently? What did you buy?
