A Little Late with my March Favourites.

So, as usual I am running slightly behind schedule with my blog posts. Not to worry though as I can see these being firm favourites throughout April too!! I have actually had to whittle down my favourites a bit as there were just too many amazing products I wanted to include.

I've never been good at using a hand cream and as a result my hands are always a little on the dry side. As gross as that may sound, I am just far too  lazy and forgetful to remember to apply hand cream every evening along with my night moisturizer; which I also sometimes forget (oops). I'm a huge fan of Soap&Glory and I think Hand Food has done a pretty darn good job of making a boring essential like hand lotion seem fun! It contains shea butter, macadamia oil, and marshmallow, smells delicious, and is super cute and girly! I think I'm actually starting to enjoy using this every night!

Next on the list is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water which has stepped into the shoes of L'oreal's offering purely due to the fact you get twice the amount for the same price! I love cleansing waters as they are the only thing that can deal with my oily skin without making me prone to breakouts. And this really does remove every single trace of make up! I have been following this up with  Lush Tea Tree Water to tone my skin and get rid of nasty impurities! Everyone knows tea tree keeps spots away! I'm also loving Anatomicals No Old Bags Allowed as a substitute for a full 8 hours sleep (haw haw). It really refreshes the under eye area, and is great at covering those signs of the naughty night before.

Onto make up next, I have been using my Sleek Rose Gold Blush ever since I snapped it up from a recent blog sale! It's sooooooooooo pretty! The colour is one of those muted pinks that would suit every skin tone, and the gold shimmer makes for a gorgeous highlight on the cheekbones. I'm actually so impressed with the quality of the packaging and longevity of this for being such a budget product! As mentioned, I suffer from oily skin, and up until a few months ago I was really struggling to find a powder that would keep oil at bay, and not just for an hour or two, but for most of the day. I actually decided to ask my twitter followers what they recommended, and I'm so pleased they got it right! One Heck of a Blot is one of the best pressed powders I have ever used, and it definitely lasts all day. I'm so happy I didn't fork out loads of cash for a really expensive one! Last but not least is something I'm sure most of you will have seen umpteen reviews on by now, and that is the L'oreal Miss Manga Mascara! The shape of the brush makes it so easy to apply to your bottom lashes and it really does add heaps of volume. Its also super easy to get off too, which is sometimes a bit of a problem with thicker mascara's! It definitely deserves the recognition its been getting!

So there you have it, my top products of March! Any of you love these as much as I do?

  9. I love the Garnier Micellar cleanser, it's great for my acne prone skin, and it's pretty cheap. I tried the Loreal one but it wasn't quite the same. I use Garnier astringent afterwards, before my usual Quinoderm Benzoyl Peroxide Cream (my skin is THAT bad *sigh*)

I found you through Raspberrykiss blog by the way. :) :) :)
