A Few April Favorites.

Sorry to state the obvious here, but I feel as though it was only yesterday I was sitting at this very same laptop editing pictures for my March favorites! Wow, this month has absolutely flew by!

First up is every bloggers new fave false tanner going by the name of Cocoa Brown! I cannot tell you how happy I am to have finally found my holy grail tanning product! The shaving foam-like texture of this mousse makes it easy to apply and leaves me streak free every time. What I love more than anything is the fact that this develops in an hour making it perfect for those last minute nights out! To be honest the colour isn't perfect or as dark as I'd like and it will go slightly orange if you leave it on too long; but I've heard there is a new darker version now available so perhaps this will be better suited to my needs! Another newbie fave this month is the Clearskin Blackhead Clearing Mask from Avon which is a strange one as I actually don't really suffer from blackheads, but this is amazing for brightening and refining the skin, and instantly after washing this off my skin looks so much more radiant! I can't really tell you whether or not this will solve your blackhead problems, because as I said that's not really one of my skin concerns, but its really affordable so I really recommend you give it a try. Another skincare product I've been loving is the Naturally Radiant Brightening Eye Cream. Believe it or not I've actually never used an eye cream consistently before. I guess I just never really saw them as a necessary step in my routine, but I am definitely noticing the difference. This one in particular aims to diminish the appearance of dark circles whilst keeping the area hydrated. The only negative is that it doesn't contain an SPF. You can see my review of this and other products in the naturally radiant range here

Moving on to make up there's a few old favorites on the list. I've been using my Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation almost daily recently and with good reason. This is an amazing base for spring as it offers light to medium coverage, but gives the skin a gorgeous radiant glow! It also boasts an SPF of 15, which for a drugstore foundation is pretty impressive. I've also been using my amazing Lancome Hypnose Mascara, which is actually one of the first mascaras I ever used! I love how this gives my lashes such amazing definition and length, it really makes my eyes pop, and although this is a little pricey I doubt I'll ever stop buying this. It's just that good! New to my collection is the Urban Decay De-Slick Make Up Setting Spray, which has completely taken me by surprise by how good it is! I always thought Make up setting sprays were a bit of a farce, but actually this one has proved me wrong. It keeps oil at bay for the whole day, so much so that I don't even have to powder! Yaaaay for that! I also have a little non beauty favorite in the shape of my favorite Yankee Candle Scent! Vanilla Frosting is just sweet enough without being too sweet and leaves a strong hint of vanilla lingering long after you've blown out the candle and turned out the light. Its perfect for those of us with a fondness for sickly sweet scents, but it may give you a sore head if not. I think its mega yummy though!

So that's what I've been loving this month! How about you guys? Any of you enjoy these products as much as I do?

  3. I just started using the Urban Decay Setting Spray, and while I was skeptical like you at first, I cannot believe how much I'm loving it! I actually just picked up a tip from Vivianna Does Makeup; she sprays the setting spray on a beauty blender and dabs it on her face, which creates an awesome dewy finish while giving all the benefits of the setting spray! I'm loving it!
