17 Stay Time Concealer

I purchased the Stay Time Concealer (apologies for the European Boots link I can't find it on the UK website!) from Boots last week as there was none of my usual Lasting Perfection Concealer in stock. I thought it looked pretty similar and, it also says on the back 'up to 18 hours of wear'. The only issue I had was whether to go for medium or fair as there were no testers available for me to swatch. In the end I went with medium and so far it seems to be a pretty good colour for me and matches my Healthy Mix Foundation perfectly.

The first thing I noticed about this concealer is that it is definitely not 'full cover' as it says on the packaging. But what I enjoy about this concealer is that unlike Lasting Perfection it isn't drying on the eyes and won't get cakey if you apply too much.the formula is a lot lighter and more watery in consistency which makes it perfect for hiding those pesky under eye bags. Actually, I believe it makes a rather great under eye concealer and blends seamlessly over the top of foundation. It doesn't dry up or crease either which is actually a huge problem for me when it comes to under eye concealers.

In hiding my acne scars and pimples it is rather a different story, as although it does a good job it is nowhere near as full coverage as Lasting Perfection and somehow it doesn't last as long on oily areas as it does on the under eye area. I think this is suited to people who have only small imperfections and are looking for a medium coverage, but for me I think it does an amazing job for my dark circles so its definitely something I will be repurchasing.

Seventeen Stay Time Concealer costs £4.49 and is only available at Boots.

  3. Sounds great, I love a good budget friendly option for just about any makeup item! Don't think they sell this brand in the U.S. drugstores though. Lovely blog, too!
