Bourjois Bronzing Primer.

Bourjois is definitely becoming one of the best in drugstore brands and I feel as though I am the most drawn to them as I always know I am getting high end quality for high street price when I choose something from the Bourjois stand.

Many of you are likely to have seen or used this product before but I feel like you can never have too many product reviews, am I right?

I get the feeling that as this is called a bronzing 'primer' and the instructions say to 'wear alone or under foundation' that it is likely to be the way most people use this product. And although, yes, I have used this under foundation, I found that it didn't make as much of a difference as I wanted.

I have been enjoying using the Bourjois Bronzing Primer as a cream bronzer to sculpt and contour my face after I have applied foundation and let me tell you I am so very glad I ignored the instructions as I love using it in this way!

I tap my Real Techniques Blush Brush in ever so lightly and blend blend blend!

Pros
  • Great colour, and you only have to use the teeniest amount.
  • Is softer on the face when used for contouring as it contains no shimmer.
  • Smells absolutely heavenly!
  • Affordable.
Cons
  • Seems to make the face more oily that usual and therefore MUST be set with a powder.
  • Looks really 'orange if you use too much.
  • Longevity isn't great so you have to reapply it throughout the day.

Overall its an enjoyable to use and fairly good quality product, but if you have super oily skin I would stay clear of this as it will slide off the skin.

Hope you all enjoyed this review:)

  2. Great review and as you said - it doesn't hurt to add your own two cents into the beauty debate. :) I don't own this bronzer, but it sounds good, I'm curious now how does it smell?! I love Bourjois scents.

  5. Great review dear.x I've heard so many good reviews about Bourjois products and to be honest I don't own many of their products. I will have a look at their products next time for sure! I haven't heard about this before but it looks really nice.x The only problem is that I have normal to oily skin and I don't think it will work for me! I definitely agree with you, there can never be too many reviews.x Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Have a lovely and relaxing Sunday!
