L'oreal Elvive Smooth and Polish Hair Masque | Review

If there is anything in the beauty world that I have not yet found my holy grail products for it is hair. I have been trying to get my hair back into good condition recently and I can say I have finally noticed an improvement. That is not to say that it has been slightly tedious at times. I have made use of pony tails since I now limit my heat usage to once or twice a month and I will try to get the split ends taken off every 6 weeks.

To be honest my hair is a lot thicker, however, the ends are still very dry not to mention my hair is not yet the waist length I want it to be. I know that in the long run I will get back my healthy, shiny, long hair, but it is a very long and monotonous process.

I have now incorporated hair masks into my routine in order to nourish and strengthen my hair, and that is where L'oreal's Smooth and Polish comes in.

This mask contains keratin polish and camellia extract, which smooth the hair down making it extra shiny and silky soft. It is as straight forward as hair masks come as directions tell us to leave the mask on for only 2-3 minutes after shampooing.

I noticed an improvement in the texture of my hair as being more smooth and silky, and this product definitely protected my split ends. It is by no means a wonder product and it will not transform your hair, but if you are looking to give your hair an extra shine boost, and protect your lengths and ends then this is a very purse friendly option, which delivers good results.

You can purchase this product for £3.47 from boots by clicking here.

What are your favorite hair products and why? Do you use hair masks as part of your routine?

Much Love, L :)
