No7 Total Renewal exfoliator: Review.

Hey everyone!

Today I'm going to be doing a short review on one of my newest discoveries, which is, No7's Total renewal Exfoliator.

Total Renewal Exfoliator £11 @ Boots
I would like to start by saying that I came across this product when I googled a treatment called Micro-dermabrasion, which is available in beauty salons all around the UK. It is a treatment which aims to target fine lines, and imperfections by removing a layer of the skin (sounds pretty harsh!), allowing fresh new skin cells to come to the surface and correct any sort of imperfections, dullness, or redness.

I've never had a Micro-dermabrasion treatment at a salon so I do not know how this exfoliator compares to it, but I will say that many of the reviews for the treatment were extremely disappointing hence why I chose not to go ahead with it and instead opt for this purse friendly exfoliator instead.

At £11, it is probably slightly more than you would expect to pay for a facial exfoliator, but Boots often give  £5 off No7 vouchers when you purchase, and I tend to get my No7 skincare with one of those. Failing that, No7 also do promotions such as 'buy one get one half price' and '3 for 2'.

The box states that the aim of this exfoliator is to give 'smoother, more radiant skin in an instant'. To be honest I don't think this is far away from the truth. After exfoliating with this I noticed my skin was a little red, but definitely a lot smoother and it seemed to have a sort of healthy glow. I have been using this product for around 4 weeks now and I am starting to see a significant difference in my skin; it is less oily, and I am yet to have any breakouts, which is normally a fortnightly occurrence for me.

I have also noticed that my skin has no dry patches even around the nose, and my skin seems to look more hydrated. Then again this could be due to my current moisturizer, which is new also. That said, the moisturizer does seem to glide on and really sink into my skin if I apply it straight after I use this exfoliator, so I definitely think this product is somewhat helping my skin become more hydrated.

Overall I think this exfoliator is one of the best around, and while it may be a little pricey it definitely gives results. I think this would be really suited to oily and spot prone skin types, and if you have dry skin it could also be of use to you for sorting out those flakes. I would say however, that if you have sensitive skin you may want to use something more gentle such as St Ives Apricot Scrub £4.99 as this is quite harsh on the skin and did leave mine looking a little red.

I definitely love this product and will continue to use it twice a week, and if you wish to purchase this online you can click here!!

If anyone else has had a similar experience with this product or maybe doesn't like this product feel free to share your stories in the box below.

Much love, L :)
